Over your heart and life
The mother of the earth was a wolf.
/Naula Dzirkale /
On November 21, at the age of 65, Vladimir Tihomirov was left, a long-standing head of Audriņu parish administration, a honest and helpful man, a good, loving man and father.
Vladimir Tihomirov was born IN parish Audriņu. In 1965, after graduating FROM Audriņu, he studied at the 3 rd High School of Rezekne. In 1967 he joined Leningrad's highest sea school, completed with good success in 1972. He was then assigned to the Baltic Sea Shipping, where he worked for seven years. From 1979 until 1986 he lived in the Estonian port city of Hobados, where he worked in a local building organization. Long after his homeland was stronger, and in 1986 Vladimir returned to his native Audriņu parish. At first Vladimir worked as a major energy agent on the farm “Audriņi”, who was elected as a secretary of the party. From 1991 to 1994 he served as Vice-President FOR SIA “Audriņi”. He was elected as President of the Council in 1994. With great responsibility and susceptibility, Vladimir Audriņu parish ran for 20 years until he went to rest in 2014. The most brightest attestation of the significant contribution of Vladimir Tihomirov to the development OF THE parish OF Audriņu and the high assessment of his work from the parish population is that, in the parish meeting before Vladimir's retirement, the entire hall rose to his feet and spent a long time with applause.
Co-workers and colleague Vladimir describe as always an honest, understanding and responsive person who treated everyone with dignity and did not give any help or advice to anyone. Vladimir was knowledgeable and read much, so he was well-guided in both work and domestic affairs and politics. Vladimir loved to be in the vicinity of nature. His best rest was work in the garden and mushrooms in local forests. It is said that, during his life, a man must build a house, set up a apple garden, and raise his son – that is what Vladimir has done.
At the time of sadness we are together and say the deepest sympathy to Vladimir Tihomirov's spouse, Zoy, son Andrey, relatives, colleagues and friends.
The departure from Vladimir Tihomirova will take place on Thursday 26 November at 10.00 on the Orthodox Church of the Holy Queen of Rēzekne. On the ground, Vladimir Tihomirov would be deposited IN THE graveyard OF Audriņu.
