Information seminars for local governments on the implementation of the project “NAMELY and DARI!”

At the end of 2014, the Agency for International Program of Youth (hereinafter – Agency) invites representatives of local governments and social services to attend information seminars on opportunities to receive funding by engaging in the implementation of the project “NAMELY and DARI!”.

“NAMELY and DO IT!” is the “growth and employment” of the 2014-2020 programming period of the European Union funds “to develop the skills of THE NON-registered NEET youth of THE SEA and to promote their involvement in education, THE activities of THE SEA within the framework of the youth guarantee and the activities of non-governmental organisations or youth centres”, launched by the Agency in September 2014.

The aim of the project is to motivate and activate young people who do not receive, work or receive trade and are not registered in the State Agency of Employment (SEA), as well as to promote the involvement of these young people in education, including vocational training, youth guarantee activities implemented BY THE SEA and the State Education Development Agency, or the activities of non-governmental organisations or youth centres.

The Agency shall organise informative seminars in each planning region of Latvia. They shall be invited to participate in local government presidents, project managers and youth affairs specialists, as well as representatives of social services. During the seminars, the Agency will provide detailed information on the project, launch cooperation with local government representatives and respond to seminar participants' questions.

Information seminars in regions

December 8 – Jelgava, at 10:00-12:30, Zemgale Region Competence Development Centre, Svetes Street 33, 1 st floor;

December 9 – Saldus, at 10:30-13:00, Saldus JIC ʺ barn ʺ, large street 3;

December 11 – Riga, at 10:00-12:30, Riga City Council, Ratslaukums 1, Chamber.
