InLine hockey area in McKashans

In autumn 2017, Lucia Ranāne McKashan held an idea to expand the range of sports activities, both for pupils and young people and for every citizen, by purchasing free-time skateskates, InLine hockey skates skates, as well as InLine hockey player and gateguard equipment.
The acquisition of InLine equipment contributes to the creation of InLine hockey league in Rēzekne municipality, which allowed several straps and international tournaments to be held in the first season with the participation of guest teams from Riga, Olaine and Vilnius. InLine hockey and scrollery activities quickly gained a great deal of responsiveness among both children and adults, promoting healthy and active lifestyles, consolidating society and developing a variety of sporting people.
Roller skates can be used both on the walkways in the school area and in the newly built area. The interest of children and young people in such leisure is very large, and also gives the opportunity to organise a variety of twinning activities with other schools, other parish and nowadays.
The opportunity to implement this idea is thanks to the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership,” which gave the opportunity to receive the European Union Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for the 2014-2020 financing of the rural development programme of Latvia – 6053.40 EURO and the municipality of Valmiera parish for co-financing of EUR 672.60. The inventory was supplied BY SIA Sportluss.
