November Kaunatas parish in Library 1 managed to be rich.
The month began with two culinary evenings. First was the masterpiece “little cook,” where the parents made mini pizza with their children. Making pizza is surprising simply, and this process makes a lot of fun – especially for children! Every cook had his own pizza, with his taste. Then, in his “mini pizzeria”, we cooked cocoa and built sweet cottages with curds and marmalade. While the pizza was baked, we mentioned dough, which was related to both vegetables and fruit and food and food.
The second culinary evening was “heavenly skymann.” A childhood flavour of heaven! Who doesn't know a fool who is so much eaten in childhood? With the skymann and pizza masters, we participated in the culinary contest of Latvian culinary heritage “literature taste”, which took place in the Letonika database. With his readers, we also participated in the Letonika erudition game – we searched for meals mentioned in Latvian writers.
As the day of the National Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia approached, there was an exhibition in the library - the photographer “Latvia fate in the hallway”, during which it was possible not only to look at the exhibition, to become acquainted with Latvia's history, but also to celebrate.
On November 15, the creative workshop for children “heart warmth – Latvia!” was held. We formed the earthquakes, the flags who later added the exhibition. We wrote to our children our wishes for Latvia.
On November 28, in the final event of the reading marathon “100 reader books about Latvia”, the library was visited BY PII “bell” in the group “squirrel”. We played the game “know about Latvia” with children. During the game, questions were asked about Latvia: history, culture, nature. The children had to find the correct answer. We read children's poems about Latvia, looked at books about our country because, as it was revealed during the reading marathon, they were the most requested and most read in the library. At the end of the event, the small participants received sweets.
December promises to be too rich: a puzzle workshop, a peppercake-baking evening, a rug bomb. Come to the village!
