Implementation of the project “Acquisition of hardware for the performance of physical load tests and physical properties of physical properties for the residents of Rezekne District”

In carrying out the survey and receiving support letters from the Rēzekne municipality sports clubs, associations and sports teams, the Rēzekne municipality's children-youth sports school convinced that the long-standing idea, to establish a medical study with special equipment that would provide additional health prophylactic tests for athletes who practice and start in increased physical load mode, became possible by participating in the Rēzekne District Community Partnership Area in THE EAFRD LEADER programme “19.2. Implementation of actions under the community-led local development strategy“ 2.3. Development of social and health services within the framework of the project competition.
Upon receipt of the decision of the Rural Support Service regarding the approval of the project, it was launched in August 2017. The eligible costs of the project amount to Eur 19423,61, of which public funding is Eur 17481.25 and co-financing of EUR 1942.36 will be provided by the children of the municipality of Rezekne, a youth sports school. The realization of the project takes place in a room next TO Maltas secondary school sports hall.
A lactate machine, electrocardiograph, force dynamometer, breath peak meter, pulse oximeter, blood pressure meter, electric weights and equilibrium platform have been purchased from the planned hardware.
This kind of hardware will be an innovation in Rezekne municipality. The main result we want to achieve in implementing this project is to carry out an in-depth health check on athletes under the guidance of a qualified specialist. The acquired hardware evaluates the operation of the most important human system systems - cardiovascular, respiratory, supportive-motion operation in peace, load and post-load mode.
