Implementation OF THE LEARN projects for start-up and development
For a second year, a project competition called “Support for the creation and development of companies in Rezekne municipality” was held in Rezekne municipality. Today, 27 ideas were announced in the competition, from which 11 projects were received for a total amount of 27430.88 EURO.
Project “Purchase of sand jet kit for the manufacture of old furniture”
Project implementer: Artis Rubuļņīks

Artis Rubuļņīks has been working for around ten years. A couple of years ago, Artis had first encountered a sand-jet technology that gave the furniture an old look. Such a furniture post-processing technique for the young carpenter would be disappointed, so he decided to focus more on it. There is a job at the workshop, but he says he can feel more.
Project “Establishment of a holiday family with children in Ozolaine parish”

The results of the project were presented by Voldemar Grave's daughter. The place of rest is located in the Peninsula near the Lake of Gaidu, in a quiet corner where it is only through the forest path: “on the one hand it is very good, because the place is far from the highways or the city, but since there is no driveway, the biggest problems have been that we can only be able to install a light design that can be carried out because it was impossible to drive it,“ told a long time. ”The features of the project were used for the construction of the toilet, the children's area with sliders, swings and barrier bands, picnic location, courtesy construction, and the purchase of boats and equipment.“ The boat was made by the local Ozolaine parish artist. ”The boat is mild, and even 10, 12-year-old children under parental supervision could be rowed. 'A long period of time saw the creation of a raft in the future to expand the range of services. The use of picnic space cost 3 EUR per hour. It can be used by anyone when logging in and booking time.
Project “Purchase of traditional local shooting equipment, creation of hunting trails in Luznava Manor Park”

EVERY “V & M Archery” representative Victoria Alexeyeva told him that he was involved in the project competition to promote local shooting and make it more accessible to the general public. Three adult and three children's arrows, arrows, arrows, fingertips, four straw targets, protective network, 3D goals (pheasant, mouthpiece and hares), and a shelter and table are purchased for project funding. Although the active activity was started only this year, “V & M Archery” has already participated in Rēzekne Municipality Day, the art picnic in Lucznava, the Latgalian music festival “Muzykys Skrytuļs”, the history reconstruction event in Burgese (Lithuania) and much elsewhere. “After the first season, we realize that the consent is so big that even three, cheekbones are working, we can't see, for example, a day about 50 people standing in a row to shoot,” said Victoria. As Victoria observed, the most prominent loaths are children: “adults think they know better, so they don't listen to our advice, but they don't get past them anyway.” For the time being, local shooting can only be tried in open-air events, but “V & M Archery” is looking for spaces to offer local shooting at the cold seasons as well as organizing local shooting training.

Also, thanks to a camera installed above the socket, “Untumi” has the opportunity to follow the stories of the stork family – how the socket construction and cleaning work is constantly taking place, as the parents protect the young ones from the rain with their wide wings and how the small sticks grow. “To ride horses and work with riding sport, there is a need for an inventory, but it is now worn out, so four sets are purchased for the project funding – bridges, saddles, strap, belts.” The housewife says that they wanted more horses to cover the money given, but it would have been less, but better: “these are the saddles from the cheap end.” They are universal but, as for each person, the size or length of the foot is different, each horse has a different shape – another neck is lower, another higher, another is more round, so that the universal saddles are difficult to adjust, whereas the blankets for which the price is not EUR 600 as these, but 1500 – 2000 EURO are not the same. ”At the moment, there is a process of sealing on the farm, because there is a particular way to sit in the rider, and if it is wrong, it is no longer possible to correct it and that such saddles will not be able to sit at all.
Project “Household development in the farm”

With the household, Sarmite Stepina has been working for a long time: the cooked blood sausages, the spring and summer, collect herbal tea, receive tourist groups, which are offered the tasting of the traditional blood sausages of the Latgalians. It should be noted that more tourists' interest in sausages prepared by the housewife appeared after participating in the Latvian television show “the real Latvian housewife”. “I'm going TO GO TO LEARN, because in the same kitchen i'm going to eat both for myself and for sale, in the same refrigerator i keep both blood sausage and carbonate for myself,” said Sarmite Stepina. Thanks to the project, a freezer and a refrigerator for the storage of the products sold were purchased. It was also purchased for the transport of refrigerating products in summer, as well as a vacuum packer to extend the period of storage of blood sausages. It is also intended to build a building where production and storage facilities are located. “Blocks and building materials are already bought, but construction works will be continued in spring,” the housewife said.
Project “design of activities, design of design objects”
Project implementer: Baiba Tulnut

Baiba Tulnut deals with the packing of gifts, the design of thematic events and the decoration of wedding, basically working with living flowers and recycled materials, such as the new designer, and the empty bottles are covered with furnace vases, while unusually decorative fabrics are made of unnecessary fabric. It is important for Baiba to use natural materials as much as possible and to use hand-to-hand work to create original design solutions. In the framework of the project, Baiba Pulnut purchased a coloured printer A3 for printing, a special surface so that sharp objects can work and do not damage the tabletop, as well as the various instruments necessary for the manufacture of decorations. Baiba was able to look at the honesty of gold couples in Luznava Manor, the concert, and the entire holy night party at the restaurant “guru”, as well as the art picnic at Luznava Manor.
Project “Creating design and sewing workshop”

Velga Krukovski developed his own brand “VelgaCode” as well as a design and sewing workshop. As the Welsh acknowledges, the economic activity had been difficult to do because the equipment was outdated: “I worked with a 12-year-old sewing machine that chewed the thread and acted as a stump.” If the equipment is not high-quality, more time is also spent, so these investments were very necessary. “An industrial sewing machine, a multi-functional sewing machine, an overcircle, a professional iron, a special ironing board that smoothed the excess moisture, as well as a adjustable manikin that is useful for customers not to be called on each adhesion.“ The new equipment is fuzzy like bees, ”says Wells, and acknowledges that the efficiency of the work has now improved significantly. Velga says that it is important for her to form a company with a mission:“ I'm trying to promote “green” thinking to make the world somewhat cleaner. If each of us sorted the waste, there would be a huge amount of waste that could be recycled and used. The “VelgaCode” brand is created from outdated clothing and fabric waste that is no longer valid for industrial production. Similarly, customers from nearby and remote areas often visit Wales to give their old, wooded clothes a second life.
Project “Creation of auto service, vehicle painting workshop”

Kaspars Saukane Verham parish has set up “Kaspara autoworkshop” in Vecborisov, the most important part of which is the painting of means of transport. Caspar has been working in the field of auto service for approximately 10 years, both as a self-employed person and in Riga, where he learned the car painting skills. “The start of his business was his own initiative, because he wanted more experience,” says the new businessman. “Purchase and dyeing pistol, polishing machine, compressor, metal cupboard, infrared lamp, air heater and parts painting stands.” For the time being, Caspar is working alone, but the increase in customers suggests that another car painter might be provided shortly. “There is a lot of customers to wait for a month, because for the time being one can serve some five to six customers per month.”
Project “Establishment of a black sauna and the acquisition of a cube for the provision of pirates”

Nellie and Andris Kischenko are pirates from Maltese parish. So far, “chiefly sauna” was a white sauna procedure, when the smoke went through the chimney, but the ancient ancients had gone into the black sauna. “Perhaps the black sauna was the most precious thing because the smoke drifted through the room, the maximum disinfection of the rooms, looks black, but is actually the cleanest sauna,” said Andris Kiscenko. As the demand for Black sauna was large, then the pirates decided to supplement the offer: “the basics were prepared, then, thanks TO THE support OF THE LEARN, the car with logs was present, and now, gradually, the bedding is“ climbing up ”, finishing the plan next summer.“ In addition to the white piracy that has been serving for some 10 years, there is also a cube of four to six persons. “There is a lot of work around Kubul, but it was necessary because the sauna is often driven not by one or two people, but four or five, so that while the one goes through the pearl, the others are extinguished, so in this case the cube is a survivor who warms the man, flies and fed the skin with natural herbs.” As the pirate pointed out, the black sauna and the cube would have also been without THE support OF LEARN, but it would be much later: “good that there are these LEARN projects that enable the development process to be accelerated.”
Project “Improving the quality of service of the rural tourism home”
Project implementer: Janis Mežinskis, ZS “Jānis”

In the Holiday Hospital, “Jānis” Feimane parish takes place in spiritual, content-saturated events, camps and creative workshops. So far, the guests had to sleep in different mattresses or couches, so THE FUNDING of THE LEARN project was very useful, for which orthopaedic mattresses were purchased on the farm. As the owners emphasise, “only well-slept people can work well and educate.”
“Replacement” of the “dining-house” project

In 2015, Rasma Germane closed a room for a ten-year lease for the establishment of a canteen “morning” in Berzgales civil parish. Since then, Rasma does not only cover tables, but also take care to improve 522 square metres of the large former school space. We changed the first four windows, then realized we needed support. I saw that there was a chance to qualify for the aid. WE changed four more windows for LEARN funding, we also bought a new working table, as well as solved a huge problem – as so far, it was difficult to keep warm, buy thermal boilers, which we are now using. There was a boiler, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine that is very useful when the holidaymakers come and ask for natural coffee, "said the housewife. A hanging ceiling was built on his own resources in cafe premises, but as the next scheduled repair of the hall. It should be noted that the“ morning ”customers are both children of children and the parish, Ilzeskalna, Lendes, Verems, Mezvids, as well as the people of Rezekne. It was rarely that there were two in the day, and four, five celebration tables.“ No one is denied, we're all taking it, because if you refuse once, you'll never need your services again, ”says Rasma Germane.
THE LEARN project competition will continue next year. The application for support for start-up or development will take place in spring.
