Implementation OF THE EAFRD project 'Simplified renovation of the feed kitchen at the fruit recycling facility'

The project was submitted on 10 March 2017, the open project submission announced in the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 of the Latvian Rural Development Programme of the Rēzekne District Communities: 19.2 “Implementation of the activity according to the community-led local development strategy” activities: 19.2.1 “local economic strengthening initiatives”.
The aim of the project is to promote innovation, cooperation and the development of knowledge base in rural areas; promote diversification, the creation and development of small businesses and job creation.
In October 2018 AN EAFRD project No 17-01-AL15-019 .2103-000005 “Simplified restoration of the food kitchen to a fruit recycling building” was implemented in the municipality of Rēzekne municipality IN October 2018. The implementation of the 1 st phase of the project resulted in the purchase of equipment and the acquisition of construction materials as a result of the implementation of Phase 2 in order to carry out the simplified renovation of the infested feed kitchen at the fruit recycling facility. The building has been restored and put into service. This results in the production of apples and berry juice from apples harvested on their farm, as well as juice-printing services for parish and municipality.
