Implementation of the project “Purchase OF LEGO Robotics Equipment Ilzeskalna for parish youth centre”

On July 20, 2017, the Rēzekne District Municipality'S Ilzeskalna parish management project (No 2017/AL15/2/19 .22 .02/25) “Purchase OF LEGO Robotics Equipment FOR Ilzeskalna parish youth centre” for the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) for rural development of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) is supported by decision of the Rural Support Service on July 20, 2017. “Place potential development initiatives”.
The aim of the project was to develop the knowledge and skills of young people in a creative way by purchasing equipment to ensure THE activities OF THE LEGO Robotics group AT THE centre OF THE Ilzeskalna parish youth.
During the realization of the project, THE children of Ilzeskalna parish and the youth LEGO Robotics group acquired new knowledge, skills and skills in the field of technical innovation.
THE ACTIVITIES of THE LEGO Robotic Assembly were based on a methodology developed BY LEGO Education, which focuses on the active activities of children and young people in the development of various ideas, experimentation of global knowledge, analysis and search for solutions to real life challenges. For children and young people, THE LEGO Robotics Actions helped to improve knowledge in mathematics, natural sciences, programming basics, developed small motors, logical thinking, creativity and collaborative skills.
In the implementation of the project, equipment was purchased – LEGO Mindstorms basic kit, LEGO Mindstorms additional kit, FLL area, portable computers.
The acquired knowledge, skills and skills in the field of technical innovation were demonstrated by children and young people in THE LEGO Robotic competitions – LEGO sumo, LEGO line-tracking, which took part in self-designed and programmed robots.
After the completion of the project, Ilzeskalna parish LEGO Robotic Collection continues to operate within the framework of the education of the educational administration of the municipality of Rezekne, and children and young people can develop the acquired knowledge, skills and skills and prepare qualitatively for the winter season of the 2018-2019 school year and achieve success IN THE LEGO Robotics field.
The total budget of the project is 3359.67 EURO (with VAT), including EU funding OF 90% or 3023,70 EURO, co-financing – 335,97 EURO, which was provided from the budget of the municipality of Rezekne.
