Implemented project “Purchase of people's suits Dricānu for the youth dance collection“ Jumalēni ”

Implementation of the project “Acquisition of people's suits FOR Dricānu cultural house dance collector“ Jumalēni ”” (No 17-01-a0192202-000060) supported under the Rēzekne District Community Partnership LAD LEADER programme. Total cost of the project - EUR 4924,70 (eligible costs OF EUR 4070,00, public funding OF EUR 3663,00). As a result of the project's realization, the dance collection “Jumalēni” has been purchased by the People's suite - girls' brunches, waistcoats, blouses, crowns, shirts, necks, and trousers, shirts and jackets.
THE youth dance collective OF THE Dricānu Cultural House is founded in 2004. At present, the collective brings together 20 young people who develop themselves in their spare time and enjoy the pleasure of dancing their national dances. The existing clothes were old and already worn. Regular, appropriate style and colorful people's suits are vital to participation in views, dance and song festival dance collectors are actively participating in annual dance collections in both Rēzekne District and neighborhoods, in events organised by homes. The new suits will make it possible to make more colourful collective concerts. The joy will be both dancers and viewers, the acquisition of new People's suits for dance collectors will further motivate young people to participate in the work of the People's dance collective in order to learn the cultural culture of the Latvian People's dance, traditions and people's outfit, thereby participating in the preservation and development of the local cultural heritage.
