Implementation of the project “Purchase of people's suits for the Sherjan dance collector“ Dzieti ””
The project “Purchase of people's suits for the Strūžānu Dance Collection” (No 17-01-AL15-a019, 2202-000001) has been supported and implemented within the framework of the Rēzekne District Community Partnership LAD LEADER programme. As a result of the project's realization, 10 women and 10 men's suits were purchased for the dance collection for a total amount of EUR 4760 (four thousand seven hundred and sixty euros).
For a long time, attempts were made to create a youth dance collective in the Cyrus Cultural House. The last dance collective ended its existence in the early nineties.
He started his creative and dancing activities in February 2016, and has been able to prove himself by this short period of time, in the events of both the cultural house and the sadance Viļānos, Dricans, Preilos, the Rēzekne District, and the dance collective views in Rezekne, where IN his category (C) he won the honest second grade. The collective is directed by Vanda Kebe.
“Song” dances ten pairs. Both young married couples and many active young people from Sherjans and even neighborhood parishes (Dricāni, Nautrēni) are flapping in the dancing family. There are dancers who drive from Rezekne.
In the first speeches, the girls danced from their neighbors in the crowded dresses, but the boys were simply white in shirts and black trousers. From the budget of the cultural house, the necessary dance shoes, the ethical belts and the corners of the necklace were purchased.
As a result of the project (project manager Sarmitte Stepins), the Sherjan CN youth dance collective “Dzieti” has gained new, beautiful People's Chats. Women's clothes include (10 units) – brunchs, waistcoat, long shirt, half-long trousers, crown. Men's suits (10 units) – trousers, vest, shirt. “Ludza amateur” was done by the people's costumes. Thank the “Ludza amateur” masters for their good and quick work. The People's suits will be in THE INVENTORY of fixed ASSETS of THE CN, accounting cards have been created.
The viewers will be able to enjoy new dances and explore Latvian/Latgalian people's suits, which are likely to serve as a motivation to join the dance collective. The preservation and development of the People's dance traditions will be encouraged, with particular attention to the cultural heritage of Latgale.
Now the visually glorious dance collector “Dzieti” in front of the next working season, in which serious attempts will be made with mixed concerts, both at home and, hopefully, in neighborhood parish. A serious screening and the next year's great song and dance festival in Riga. The “Dzieti” will make a great effort to give the honour OF Stružānu parish words in the common dance article of Latvia!
