Implementation of the Rēzekne municipality's child-youth sports school project “Purchase of sports equipment and equipment for the promotion of physical activity”
The Regional Agricultural Administration of the Rural Support Service has approved the project application “acquisition of sports equipment and equipment for the promotion of physical activity” (No. 17-01-AL15-a019 .2202-000007), which was submitted to THE EAFRD for the 2014-2020 sub-measure of the rural development programme “implementation of the activity in accordance with the community-led local development strategy”. The project competition was announced by the association “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership”.
The purpose of the project is to purchase a quality and diversified leisure opportunity for residents, young people and all who are actively engaged in physical activity. For local residents, it will be possible to use sports hall with additional activities.
In the framework of the project, the floor washing machine was purchased, the game trainer PASS, BALL EN453, the speed development ladder, the cross-speed development Trepe, the barrier, the resistance belt, the duplex belt, the suspension, the protective mask, the weight-lifting stand, the weight rod, the weights of 5,10,15 kg.
The Purchased Attachment Trainer PASS `BALL EN453 is a innovation in the implementation area of local development strategies. With the help of this trainer it is possible to learn more of the game technique and to diversify activities. The training process will become much more interesting, more creative, more focused on sports game elements. This trainer is used for any sport and any place, as this training device can also be used outdoors and for which age because it has a adjustable height.
The implementation of the project will result in improved co-operation of schools, parents, children, communication of different generations, as well as the interest of children and young people in acquiring new skills.
The eligible costs of the project are EUR 8 998,00, of which public funding is EUR 8099,98, co-financing OF EUR 900,00 will be provided by the youth sports school of the municipality of Rezekne. The purchased inventory will be used IN Dricānu high school sports hall.
