Implemented one of the gravel road conversion projects in Rezekne municipality

With the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) since 3 April 2018, project No 18-01-a00702-000013 of the municipality of Rezekne was implemented “Improvement of municipal road infrastructure in Rēzekne municipality, 4 th round”. The aim of the project was to improve the quality of the gravel roads of the municipality of Rezekne for the promotion of rural business and to ensure reach to the local population. Within the framework of the project, by 18 June 2020, a reconstruction of the gravel road of the five municipalities of Rezekne was carried out. No 4209 “Small Puderovo – Audrini” and No. 4210 “Creevy bread – Mežari” were rebuilt in the parish of Audrinu parish, a section of 1.2 km where the performer of works was the local construction company SIA “Vaivars”. The construction company SIA “Vaivars”, as WELL as the “Kauno Bridge” subcontractor, was successfully implemented by the construction company SIA “Vaivars”, as WELL as the “Kauno Bridge” subcontractor. On the other hand, Lendzu parish motorway No. 6612 “Ciskov – Cirma Station” was another local building firm - SIA “roads and bridges”. Nagu parish rebuilt road No. 7405 “Lodges – Sawberry” 2.3 km, performer of works - SIA “Vaivars”. As a last summer in June, the construction of road No. 9602 Sondori - Loborji was completed in the parish of Verems, which was carried out by THE “Kauno Bridge” subcontractor SIA “Vaivars” (see road photo).
In accordance with decision 01.3-11/20/326-e of the Rural Support Service, the costs of construction and construction supervision of the specified project for the conversion of five roads are EUR 1 280 550.83, from which the public EAFRD funding allocated is 90% or 1 152 495.73 EURO.
The local government expresses gratitude to all performers of construction and construction work, authorizers, as well as all co-operation partners and responsible employees regarding successful joint work in the implementation of the project in the course of these two years!
