The Italian authorities are looking for project partners who would like to participate IN THE EU “JUSTICE” programme. The Municipality of Latina wOuld like to participate as a Partner in a Consortium under the Call for proposalsJUST/2014/RDAP/AG/BULL.
The Municipality, and particularly its Culture and Public Education Department, already ha a Consolidated Experience in the Field of Projects linked to the Protection of Children as Victims of bullying, which have been financed by National and Regional grant. The they especially the Focused on the issue of bullying in School, a Place where This Problem is widespread in Italy, and Focused on the Features of both Prevention/Communication and Protection/Assistance (of Legal and Psychological Nature).
Particularly, very Successful Results been achieved through the “Sbulloniamoci” Project, which involved 11 School of Latina, more Than 1100 student at School and 9000 other students as indirect beneficiaries, as well as approximately 300 professors, who were Trained by with Experts (psychologists, a lawyer and the Police) on how to recognize a Critical situation and Deal with the phenomenon from a Psychological and Legal Point of View. The Project dealt with the issue in a Comprehensive Way and kept together Activities of Information and Dissemination Addressing Student and Young People, Training Activities Addressing the Teachers and professors, as well as the Active Involvement of the Local institutions (as example, a Green Number also ha been activated by the Municipality in Order to Help student, parents, School Staff Thank to the provision of a 24 h Consultancy, by a Psychologist Specialized on the issue). Based on its Great Sensibility on the Topic, the Municipality expressed Now its Interest to Transfer This Experience to the Transnational Level by joining a Consortium already Working on This Call for proposal.
