Announces the adoption of local action group proposals for rural development programmes 2014-2020

The Rural Support Service shall announce the adoption of proposals of local action groups for the implementation of the rural development programme 2014-2020 (LAP) “Support FOR local development of LEADER (local development of society)” and the action programmes 2014-2020 (RP) in the measure “Implementation of the local development strategies of society” by launching public funding for implementation of local development strategies (strategies) by 2019.

Adoption of proposals of local action groups will take place from 7 May 2015 to 7 June 2015.

THE level of support for the implementation of the strategies in THE LAP measure “aid FOR local development” is: EUR 49 000 000 , providing at least one project acceptance round per year.

IN THE RP measure “implementation of community-led local development strategies”, the amount of aid to implement strategies is: 8 820 000 EUR.

A local action group which has approved a project application for the preparation of a strategy may, in accordance with paragraph 10 of Regulation No 125, grant aid in addition to: EUR 10 000  Implementation of THE RDP measure “preparatory support”.

The project application form can be found on the website www.lad.gov.lv under “Types of Support” → LEADER.

Project applications shall be submitted to the regional agricultural administrations of the Rural Support Service or to the central apparatus of the Rural Support Service at the Customer Service Centre of the Ministry of Agriculture in Riga, Republic of Republic 2, 2 nd floor lobby (tel. 67095000, 67027804).

A project application in the form of an electronic document, signed with electronic signature and certified by time stamp in accordance with the procedures laid down in the Electronic Documents Law, may also be submitted: lad@lad.gov.lv.
