Announced registration for Latgale centenary Congress in Rezekne

The person who will sign up at the specified time will be able to qualify for the receipt of the listener's certificate, participate in the vote on the establishment and resolution of the action committee. In contrast, othey will be able to predict the number of participants in this way.

Latgale centenary Congress
1917 has been crucial in the fate of many European peoples and countries. Latgale, who was then part of the Russian Empire in Vitebsk Governor, was keen to think about the existence and potential development of the Latvian People's and State. In 1917, many important political consultations and contacts have been held, analysing world processes, assessing the prospects of their people and the possibilities of their nation. Latgale had two congresses in Rezekne: 26-27 April (after j. St. On 9-10 May), where the leading role was in the clergy and which took a historic decision to detach from the Governor of Vitebsk and to form one country with Vidzeme and Kurzeme, while preserving the right of self-determination in matters of economic, linguistic and faith, and on 3-4 December (after j. St. 16-17 December), where the leading role was for the gunsland. As a result of the second Congress, the three counties of Rēzekne, Ludza and Daugavpils were separated from the Governor of Vitebsk. Latgale April Congress is one of the first to update the idea of a joint Latvian state and prepare a political and civic educational platform for the establishment of Latvia's state on 18 November 1918.
In remembering these historically unambiguous and controversial events, the centenary of Latgale is organised.
Politicians and practitioners of various fields are invited to participate in Congress, both with reports and applied topics for discussion. It is planned that the current scientific previews of Latgale will be in love with the public consultation of unclear or controversial issues, in order to elaborate and discuss the main points of the resolution in the course of Congress and to conclude it with concrete proposals for the development of economic, security, cultural, educational, language and media policy.

On August 11-13, 1992, the 1 st World Latgalian Summit was held in Rezekne, bringing together a wide range of specialists in order to jointly agree on the strategy and transformation of the awakening period necessary for the resurgence of Latgale region. There are decisions regarding the updating of Latgalian language issues, regional media and book-issuing support, the establishment of Rezekne High School (RA) (since 1 January 2016 - Rēzekne Technology Academy, RTA). The event came out with the opening of the renewed monument “Unified Latvia”.  
On August 11-13, 2002, the 2 nd World Latgalian Conference was organized, in which the name was adopted, addressed to PRESIDENT Vīķei-Freiberga, President of the Republic of Latvia and PRIME Minister of LATVIA Andris Berzins. It welcomed the development of the national language law, the fact of establishment OF RA, the support for the work of Latgale cultural centre publishing house, as well as the following urgent challenges: “The preservation and development of the cultural heritage of Latgale is visible in the inseparable context of the economic life of the municipality and the national regional policy. At the time when the largest share of investments comes to Riga and its surroundings, leading to Latvian rural extinction and a catastrophic increase in unemployment, we consider it vital to increase the state aid to Latvian peripherals, especially Latgale, by reducing tax rates and encouraging attraction of investments.” The name expressed concerns about the current administrative territorial reform, which would result in the change of Latgale culture. The concerns have been justified: after the 2009 reform, Varakalans is no longer a member of Latgale Planning Region, but several regions of Celia are included in the region.  
On 9-10 August 2012, during Latgale days in Rezekne, the 3 rd World Latgalian Summit was held, where a scientific conference was also held alongside a wide cultural programme, assessing the trends of Latvia's independence time in Latgale development and the causes of the recession in the economy, education, language, cultural policy and actively participating in the implementation of Latgale support programme. The adopted resolution provided for practical measures as the introduction of Article 3(4) of the National Language Act into Latvian language and educational policy, the activation of its public order and the respect of the Latgalian language in national communications and media policy. In this conference, the Siberian Latgalians were also represented, presenting their survival experience in the 20 th century.
