Launching a LEADER project competition for business start-up and development

The association “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” declares the 6 th round of the open LEADER project applications with a total funding of EUR 622047,07. The project competition is launched IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE IMVA strategy objective “developed multidisciplinary entrepreneurship” for the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) in actions:
1.1. “Start-up” - eur 217716,47 ALLOCATED; maximum eligible costs per project EUR 35 000; EUR 50 000 *
1.2. “Promotion of business development” - eur 404330,60 ALLOCATED; maximum eligible costs per project 45 000 EURO; 70 000 EURO *; total project up to 80%.
* if investments in construction are at least 70 % of the amount of eligible costs of the project.
Project applications may be submitted from 22 February 2019 to 22 March 2019 in the electronic login system of the Rural Support www.lad.gov.lv (LAD) https://eps.lad.gov.lv/login. The project submission shall also submit a self-assessment of the aid applicant regarding the conformity of the project with the project evaluation criteria laid down in the local development strategy, indicating the number of points corresponding to each criterion and substantiating the conformity of the points.
A natural or legal person wishing to commence or develop entrepreneurship in the municipality of Rezekne and Viļānu may apply for aid. THE financing OF THE EAFRD may be obtained for the purchase, construction and promotion of the product or service.
Deadline for implementation of projects: if construction is carried out - two years from the decision of the Rural Support Service (LAD) regarding approval of the project application. For other projects, the project implementation period shall be one year from the decision of THE LAD on the approval of the project application.
