Launching a business project competition for remigrants to implement business ideas in Latgale

Latgale Planning Region launches a business project competition for remigrants for the commencement, implementation and development of economic activity in Latgale.
A person who had declared from the State for at least three years and has returned to Latvia for not more than a year may apply for the grant. The time of the declaration shall be considered as a change of residence.
The total funding of the aid measure in Latgale planning region amounts to EUR 36 000. The maximum co-financing of one project is EUR 9 000.
The deadline for submission of project applications is 24 August 2018 until 25 September 2018. 17:00 (including).
Applications may be submitted:

• on the site of the Latgale Planning Region Daugavpils Bureau on Sunday 15, Daugavpils, working days from plkst. 9:00 to p.m. 17:00;
• by post (registered letter) to the address solar street 15, Daugavpils, LV-5401 (ensuring receipt of the application until the specified deadline for submission of projects);
• send to e-mail address pasts@lpr.gov.lv (in electronic form).

The “return gravel” competition is organised under the “Regional Coordinator for Reemigration” of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
Total pilot project funding for business support is EUR 180 000, at least 4 projects will be supported in each planning region.
