In the auction for the provision of catering services in the municipality of Rezekne, SIA “Landskorona” is victory in the building of the local government administration.

On 24 October, the municipality of Rezekne held a lease on the premises of the administrative building at 124 square metres. Three bidders, who expressed their willingness to be placed in the room at the release alley 95A, took place in Rēzekne to provide a place for the provision of catering services. The starting price of the auction was 0.65 EUR per month per square metre (excluding VAT), while the auction step – EUR 0.10 per square metre. The highest price – EUR 0.95 PER month per square metre – was promised and the rental right of the municipal basement was acquired for ten years by SIA “Landskorona”, which currently operates a cafe “korona” in the premises of the city council of Rezekne. The owner of the company, Juris Kudulis, told him that the premises were planned to be repaired and equipped in the coming months, so that the cafe could begin his work by the beginning of the new year. When asked about the menu, the owner found that it would be much like this moment's menu at the city council cafe, where both meat and fish food and different types of soups and sweet peppers could be selected. Similarly, the new room lessee noted that a variety of healthy salad and vegetarian food are planned to be introduced in the food assortment. It should be noted that the premises were auctioned in connection with the end of the lease contract of the previous catering service provider.
