Within the framework of the infrastructure improvement projects of Rezekne City, potential investors are offered an investment object at a convenient price rental right for the construction of a production building in the territory of Rezekne SEZ in Vilaka Street 1, Rezekne.
The total area of the newly built production complex is 6768,59 m2, including a production body with a total area of 4961,9 m2, administrative premises, household and technical auxiliaries, with a total area of 1806,7 m2, building-related access roads and parking areas of a total area of 3778,5 m2.

The property is owned by the City Council of Rezekne, which organises a auction on rental rights. Over the next three years, the tenant of the facility must invest in long-term non-financial investments of EUR 3 500 000 and create 95 jobs. Tenders for participation in the auction shall be adopted by 8 February 2019. Rent: the notional lease fee of eur 2720 (two thousand seven hundred and twenty euros) per month without value added tax. Lease term: 30 years.
Investors who develop entrepreneurship and invest in projects within the territory of this investment object may qualify for the benefits of the special economic zone of Rezekne. Currently, Rēzekne SEZ companies have access to tax incentives up to 55% of total investment costs: 80-1001 TP1T discount for real estate tax, as well AS 80% discount on company tax dividends. Regarding the special economic zone of Rezekne:
Rezekne SEZ was established in 1997 on the basis of “Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Act”. This Law prescribes the procedures for the administration and utilisation of Rezekne SEZ, requirements for the performance of commercial activities and investments, as well as the functions and tasks of the Rēzekne SEZ administration.
The procedures for the application of tax advantages in free ports and special economic zones shall be determined by the Law on the Application of Taxes in Free Ports and Special Economic Zones. The capital companies registered in Rezekne SEZ may receive both direct tax discounts (real estate tax, corporate tax) and indirect tax relief, forming the free areas of Rezekne SEZ, as well as making investments. Tax relief for Rezekne SEZ will be applicable until 31 December 2035.
The total area of Rezekne SEZ is 1155 ha, which includes the administrative territory OF the municipality of Rezekne and Rezekne, Vērēmu, Griškānu and Ozolaines parish. With the status of Rezekne SEZ, 18 commercial companies are active in early 2018.
