A festival of spiritual music is taking place in Lendes for a second year.

In the afternoon of May 12, in the afternoon of 12 May, the Rēzekne municipality, in the afternoon of 12 May, gazed on THE festival of the spiritual musical festival “through times”, dedicated to the centuries of Latvia.
The spiritual music concert “through times” is a continuation of the May singing tradition IN Lendžu parish. Thanks to lector previews, the concert viewers survived the role of the spiritual world in the human life that it provides and how to move forward.
The songs of the Stirniene spiritual music choir “Reversium”, the female choir of Zaļenieku parish, the choir of the Rēzekne Polish cultural association “Jutrigka”, the blower orchestra “Dekšāres”, Ingona Lipska, the singing Vilde family, THE Maltas music school violiness ensemble, the folklore set “Atzele”, THE Lendžu parish women's vocal ensembles “Run” and “Ommamas”.
The rest of the guests were the Jelgava municipality's Zalumenieku women's choir, whose leader Gunta Minkevica said that Lendes had become, thanks to Cora's member Inguna Lipsk: “she ever lived and worked in Lendes.” The Inguna compels and sings beautiful songs and she offered to go to this nice event. We were in Aglona, the Royal Hill, the bread museum, the singing in Luznava, and we are very much taken from the beauty and hospitality of Latgale.
Our chorus is very young, before we had a Bar Fruit. We sing a variety of songs, but the spiritual songs are better than the song festival repertoire.
We're in love with Latgale, so we'll come here next year and we'll take another collective. '
The entrance to the concert free of charge, however, also this year, like last year, was invited to donate funds to the reconstruction of the Catholic Church of the Holy Virgin of the Red Virgin. “This is a beautiful event, the money collected will be donated to our church.” Most of the work has already been done, at the end of July, the Holy Mass will be held in the church, "SAID Bērzgales, the Stiglava and Sarkanian threats, Andris Jonans.
The organizers of the concert are fully committed to this beautiful tradition of organising the spiritual music festival before the Summer festival – to continue other years. The head of the parish administration, Voldemar Decrsnis, acknowledged that he was delighted with a new tradition: “the idea of the necessity of such a measure has been long ago, i am glad that such concerts are happening and the tradition is rooted.”
May is the month of the Holy Virgin Mary, the time when special services and prayers are devoted to God. The May singing on the honour of a young woman at the crossroads as a tradition came 19.gs. and has not disappeared over time. In May, especially on the side of Latgale, we can see people gathering at the open-air crossroads, most often created at the edge of the road, in the village, at home or in church gardens, to pray and celebrate the Virgin Mary. Today it is important not to forget about values that have helped, strengthened our people over time. Faith, prayer, ability to ask and thank you is the highest value that must be preserved and handed over to future generations.
