New tradition – competition “school talent”
What is talent? You can see what others don't see, hear what others don't hear, understand what others don't understand. The talent is unique to everyone, the question is whether a man has discovered and noticed that talent at all.
On 5 February, those who were associated with song, dance, music and other creative activities gathered in the school hall. It was delighted that there was a lot of talented pupils who wanted to prove themselves and show themselves. The most talented pupils who attend school concerts and events and travel to the annual festival “copper talent” were put forward in this competition. Student talents were evaluated by a competent jury: Sylvia Freiberga, Anita Cercene and Anna Clusha.
Every student had the opportunity to express his talent. The performances were different: the pupils sang a variety of genre songs, read poetry, danced their own rhythmics, and hip - hop dances, graceful dancing sports dancing, playing musical instruments, showing their works and drawings.
After each of the performances, the jury members expressed their assessment of what they had seen and honoured the new talents with gratitude and sweets. It should be noted that the overall score was positive, as each of the show's participants had been seriously prepared, showed itself as a talent, and received not only the jury's smiling faces, but also the world-recognized prize, the audience's applause. The festival “copper talanti” school will be represented by Valerija Trehnova from class 2, Cynthia Onujan from class 7, folklore set and ensemble.
The areas where to expand and prove themselves are hundreds and thousands, and often what is interested in and attracting us, but all the time, or trying to pretend, is what distinguishes us from others - that is our special talent, so we must listen to ourselves and, above all, invest in the development of this talent. Let this talent show be a kick-off point, and as a encouragement for those who stood aside this time!
