Young people are invited to meet with meps Tatjana Ždanoku

Monday, May 11, at 11.00 In the municipality of Rezekne, young people and pupils are invited to meet with Members of the European Parliament (EP) Tatjana Ždanoku. During the meeting, it will be possible to listen to a Member's lecture on “the art of speech in the context of the European Parliament” and to find out about the opportunities of young people in the European Parliament.
The lecture will take place in the large hall of the municipality of Rezekne (in the alley of release 95a), where young people will be able to find out:

  • What knowledge/practical skills are required in the public debate?
  • Arguments - How to search for Allies? How to deal with situations where a member of the conversation is negative?
  • Useful knowledge when speaking publicly or participating, for example, IN a TV debate - how to make a speech? How to address an unknown audience?
  • Can i read a speech from a page or better improvise? How do i speak to listen to the audience?
  • How to overcome the excitement?
  • PARLIAMENT's work - speeches in plenary, work with 750 colleagues from all European Union countries.

Similarly, during the meeting, representatives of the European Parliament's information office in Latvia will be informed about the opportunities of young people in the European Parliament.
