Young people learn creative entrepreneurship
From 15 to 19 August, the “lighthouse” in the water tourism centre “LOBS” organised the “creative business” of informal learning. 13 young people from the various parishes of Rezekne novada: Dricana, Rikavas, Berzgales, Lendes, Verems, Ozolmaniža and Ilzeskalns participated in the training. In relation to the number of vacant posts and the small number of young people, four participants from Daugavpils, Līksna and Aglona municipality were also admitted to the training. The purpose of the training was to promote the interest of young people in Latgale by creating video material for the promotion of Latgale region.
The training was conducted by Janis Jurchenko, but guest lecturers were also invited to provide additional knowledge to young people during training and to diversify the period of training. On the first day of training, Cynthia Ludboržs was invited to promote the interconnection of young people through various methods such as: ice breking (barrier breaking) and tem Building (group formation). On the second day of training, THE “lighthouse” was visited by the youth affairs specialist Janis Šaudiņš, who did not only provide information on the support programmes of the new entrepreneurs of Rezekne, but also participated in the broadcasts of the programme as a student guest. On the other hand, Latgale regional television journalist Esma Spruukte gave lessons in journalism to help young people create an interview with entrepreneurs and introduce them closer to journalism.
On the third day of training, young people went to excursion at various entrepreneurs: Santa Zundas, Ilzes Chudares, Janis Jurchenko and Walter Murane. Each of the entrepreneurs had a story of inspiration and creative expression, which strongly encouraged young people to encourage and implement their ideas. The excursion also marked an interview with entrepreneurs, leading to the creation of a video story of creative entrepreneurs. In the last, fourth day of training, THE “lighthouse” was visited by systematic Couch Aloid Jurchenko. In the final event, young people created theatrical performances on the topic “my creative company”. It should be noted that the participants' approach to this task surprised managers with their originality and unity. Although most of the participants were unknown among themselves, there was a strong and friendly link between them.
