Young people are invited to apply for service in a special task unit

Safeguarding the security and independence of their country is a fair duty for every citizen of the country, so Latvian young people who think of making military career are invited to apply for the National Armed Forces (NBS) Special Task Unit. Young people must be a national of Latvia, know the language of the country, have at least secondary education, the state of health must comply WITH THE requirements OF THE NBS. Following the selection of the selection tests, a training soldier for young people in the primary training course at the Footer School in Alūksne. With the first day of service, the National Armed Forces provide stable wages and social guarantees to soldiers, while the acquisition of military knowledge can be continued by studying at the National Defence Academy.
