The winter this year, one day, a frost and a bird, the other can wear snowsprings, the third should be looking for boots to brush the puddles. Children's real winter activities - skating, skiing, hockey games - do not have to enjoy. However, in January and February, there has been a number of other activities that have been less creative and interesting.
At the end of January, a “stage talk” competition was organised at school. The participants had to prepare a poem or a piece of prose work that would be said. In the 1 st – 4 th classes, 15 pupils participated in the competition, and in the 5 th – 9 th classes eight. The children had selected the works of various Latvian authors who were not from the shorter and lightning. All the participants tried to show both the viewers and the jury the art of their speech from the stage. As in each competition, there were winners and those who were less lucky this time. 1 st of the newest classes - Artfield Jershaw (season 2), 2 nd place - Egitai Melne (season 2), 3. - Valerie Makeyeva (season 4). Place 1 - Ilvar Razgalim (5 th club), 2 nd place - Diana Pokanei (5 th club), 3 rd place was divided by Ilya Georgenov (7 th club) and League Kigitovich (9 th club). The masters of the new stage were valued by the teacher jury – the League of League, Janina Bikovska and Elita Kupruka. The winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas and small sweet prizes.
On 5 February, the school's management had made a pleasant surprise at the best lessons, giving them a trip to a bowling center in Rezekne. This mixed event has been given to children for a quarter of a year, and every time the participants have unforgettable emotions from this gambling and exciting game. The annual trip to bowling is grateful to those pupils who have been able to earn the name of a good friend and a brilliant. The bowling game also took part in the New Jerusalem primary school teachers and the parents of the parents' Council. All the participants in the journey are grateful to the school director Ivarigraim, because a mixed event could take place as a result of his initiative and organisation.
From 9 to 13 February, the school had a week of projects. Each day had its own theme – sports day, language day, creativity day, technology and science base day etc. The main theme of the project week is “professions”. The pupils dealt with the collection, interviews, research work of the subject, the materials collected and, finally, the classes presented their works. The accomplishment turned out to be exciting enough for both the pupils themselves and the teachers. The most interest was due to the filming of the pupils themselves and the film about all developments (particularly the scenes) in the project week.
The joy and fun was Methday. From the very morning, both small and large crowds gathered at the school hill with raggins, films, “apples” to get out of the heart. The pupils discussed Methday's traditions, beliefs, and the fact that the quiet time was going to begin. Jekaterina Marmiuzva, a sports teacher, had prepared for children a variety of sporting relay and competitions, which took place both at the sports hall and on the new hockey area. Then, by connecting the Latvian and Russian Moscow traditions, they all co-incinerated a large straw doll, thus symbolizing the winter. There was also a hot tea and a traditional Reverend Reverend, a pancake. The pink cheeks, the gleam in his eyes and the realization that spring was no longer behind the mountains, was the greatest satisfaction of all the Methenian participants.
