First season of Junior Volleyball League (JVL) with binding games

On Sunday 30 November Adamov's special boarding school and Bērzgales primary school sports hall took place IN the JVL finals organised by the children-youth sports school of Rezekne. Following the results of the main tournament, the fight for the big cup in the youth group continued to be four teams. In the final, a team of Kaunatas and Nautrēnu played for 3 rd place. The result 2: 1 won THE Nautrēnu team. THE Kaunatas team ranked 4 th. In the final, the Ezernieki and Feimaņu team fought for 1 st place. Leadership positions with 2: 0 were held by the Ezernieki team.

The girls' group split into two groups after the main tournament. Three teams – sabre, Malnava and Ezernieki – met for the big bucket. While playing a circle system in this group, the Ezernieki team approved the leading positions with 6 acquired points and providing 1 st place in the first JVL season. The sabre team won 4 points and 2 nd place in the tournament, while the Malnava team ranked 3 rd.

Four girls' teams, who ranked from 4-7 th in the main tournament, met the small bucket. In finals for 3 rd place, THE Bērzgales team persuaded the result 2: 0 to override the Fizas (Kaunatas) command. Kaunatas and Tiskad girls struggled for the 1 st and 2 nd place. A Kaunatas team, with 2: 1, took over the Tiskad team, providing 1 st place in a small cup.

The best players in season 1 of THE JVL were recognized – Edgars Jevsevievs (Ezernieku com.), the big bucket - Diana Jakovlev (Ezernieki com.) and the Small Cup - Liana Zelina (Kaunatas com.)

The best player in the team was awarded – Sandris Turlajs (Rogovkas com.), Staņislavs Jermaov (Kaunatas com.), Aigars Kalniņš (McKashan com.), Alexander Mikhailov (Feimaņu com.).

The best players in the team were awarded – Olga Kolesnikova (Bērzgales com.), Tatjana Bažanova (Tiskad com.), Erika's profits (Fizas com.), Olga Soboļeva (Malnava com.), Linda Bumbeša (sabru com.).

BJSS Director Aldis Ziukmacis, Director of the Rēzekne, expresses great thanks to JVL for the 1 st season judges – savage Ivanov, Oļegam Zukov and Arnim Zogoth – on the work performed and the sports school methodical Arnita Poiis on the accounting and compilation of the results, as well as thanks to 12 team players, coaches and team representatives that they accepted the challenge of participating in the new Rēzekne District Junior Volleyball League!
