As Meteday/Moscow celebrated in Ozolaine

This year, the nature of a large and small luxury with a real winter, so that the festival that symbolizes the goodbye of the winter - the mascara and the Meters seem to have come too early this time. The snow coupe behind the window and the prevailing frost do not show that spring was somewhere close, but it was possible to celebrate the festival this year, taking into account many of the traditions that had ever been established in the past, which had not been possible in the past years because of the lack of snow.
The festival began with traditional winter fishing competitions, where a large crowd of hobby fans took part.
In order for children to enjoy winter activities, a snow hill at THE Ozolaines People's House, called “Bex Alps”, was created in time. Also, in solidarity with the winter Olympic Games and the Latvian bobsley team, two traces were created in our festivals with ragavas called “Bex bobsley” in the Olympic spirit. The children could also compete in the ragava towing competitions and the fun pillow battle, because the ancient tradition reports that the Meters and the mascara must be accompanied by a joy and a happy atmosphere, much laughing and fun to spend time.
While the children were enjoying winter joys, adults could listen to a festive concert that sounded songs and plays in several languages, allowing everyone present to feel like Latvian and Latin and Russian traditions. Audriņu Women's Advocate, Ivolga, was pleased with the eyes of the spectators, with costumes of Russian culture, and ears, with songs of songs and plays in Russian. The folklore set “Utilities” from Ozolmuižas parish was pleased with the Latgalian folklore. A whole crowd of witches, or Silmalas parish dance, who performed “witch dance”, had been “fired” in the massacre/Metea festival. Inara Blinov, head of the folklore group “Zealand”, enjoyed the listeners with a story that came out on the previous day at the “Signers and stories festival” Viļānos and that Inara won the honest 2 nd place among the storytellers. IN Ozolaines, the members of the Senior Club of the People's House spoke the dance “Babuski-staruski”, in a humoristic fashion showing how many jestries and fun grandmother they were.
In February, THE residents of Ozolaines parish were invited to enjoy the winter and spend time with the family, raising a snowman with whom he had a task of taking photos and sending this photo to the “snowman competition”. All participants and winners of the “snowfall competition” were awarded during the event. As a result of the internet vote, the Bikovskau family, with his masterpiece “our Snowman in a dog year”, became the winners. The participants and winners of the angling competition were also awarded and summed up. Vasilia Blinov was recognised as the winner in the nomination “longest fish” and “worst fish”, while Erik Blinov was recognised as the winner. For the third year of the event, there was also a contest of the most spiritual pancakes in which every landlord or landlord could participate, bringing their pancakes and giving it to the participants of the festival. As a result of the vote, it was established that the most spiritual pancakes were baked by Nadežda Cairiah.
Under the direction of the artist Nandita Kirejeva, everyone had the opportunity to create their own small straw doll as a talisman and the guardian of the house throughout the year, until the next festival.
Finally, the traditional big straw doll, which was created by Ozolaines of the People's House of the People's House (manager Nellija Kotebo), was also brought to the fire site by THE song OF Audriņu women's voxal ensemble “Ivolga”. In conclusion, all the attendants were respected with the traditional food of Moscow - pancakes and the traditional food of Methday - hard grand, fulfilling another festive tradition - before going into the big corridor, everyone had to eat properly.
In the winter, beautiful and fun, these celebrations, thank you very much to our villages - Audriņu for the women's vocabulary, Ivolga, Ozolmuižas folklore tree “Utilities”, Silmalas dance collector, narrative Inara Blinov, Senior club “fire”, artist Nanditai Kirejeva, and, of course, all activities, competitions. So much thanks to the cooks that took care of both the warm tea tea and the pancakes and the hard grill, thanks TO THE Ozolaines parish administration collector for the creation of snow mountain, trash, fires.
