What should be the common agricultural policy after 2020?

Farmers are invited to participate in the European Commission's online survey on the modernisation and simplification of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The questionnaire should provide an assessment of the current functioning OF THE CAP and proposals for improvement in the future.
All EU countries participate in this survey. The participation of each country and the views expressed are very important. The attitude must be understanding and responsible, as this survey is part of the EVALUATION of THE CAP by the European Commission. After the evaluation, proposals for THE CAP after 2020 will be prepared.
This is an opportunity to defend their own interests. Through intelligent responses, we can highlight our common vision for sustainable development and financial attraction of Latvian agriculture, which will ensure an adequate level of living in the regions.
The questionnaire contains 34 questions. For example, how to better support the activities of young farmers or other entrepreneurs in which investments in rural areas need to be improved. Proposals for reducing administrative burdens are pending. You can also express your views freely without any specific questions.
A lot of problems, so we will be actively involved in addressing them. Questionnaire available at the Ministry of Agriculture website www.zm.gov.lv It shall be open until 2 May of that year.
The survey gives statements, questions that you need to think about when you reply. In order to better understand the nature of each question, the significance of the answer, the best to discuss them, analyse it, this possibility is offered BY SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation to Education Centre” within the framework of the national rural network activities of the State rural network, calling on farmers to focus on the discussion on the common agricultural policy after 2020. The discussion will take place on 27 April at 10.00, Rezekne, SIA “LLKC” in Rezekne, Rēzekne, Garzu Street 7a.
