Kaunatas Catholic Rehabilitation Project implemented in Catholic Friends
Kaunatas Catholic congregation has completed the implementation of project No 17-01-AL15-a019 .2201-000007 “Extension of the availability of the cultural heritage of THE Catholic Church OF Kaunatas and the restoration of the roof cover”. The project is supported in the sub-measure “Implementation of activities under the community-led local development strategy” of the European Agricultural Latvia Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. “Conservation and promotion of cultural history, natural heritage, improved public infrastructure”.
The objective of the project to be implemented is to promote the preservation of the traditional cultural heritage by attracting modern interactive technologies and restoring the roof cover of the church.
The total cost of the project is EUR 47844,30. Sources of financial resources of the project: public EAFRD funding OF 90% - EUR 27000.00; co-financing of the municipality OF Rēzekne in Kaunatas parish government co-financing 10% - EUR 3000.00; support for financing of the creative work of the municipality of Rezekne IS EUR 6000.00. Kaunatas Co-financing (ineligible costs) of the Roman Catholic parish (non-eligible costs) OF the Virgin Virgin Marie in EUR 11844,30, including the payment of additional works and the services of the building supervisor.
The project was supported on 29 June 2017. Restoration of the roof cover of the church, the alignment of the roof liners, the application of condensate film and the replacement of wood-damaged structures. The churches and pipes of the church have been replaced, the lightning protection is installed, the small towers of the church roof are restored. The construction work of the roof cover was performed BY SIA “Maltas builder”.
Within the framework OF the project, a modern innovation - an interactive touch-sensitive display - is installed and available for public viewing in the Church of Kaunatas, which is an innovative device for Latvian domestic buildings and Kaunatas church, including. In five sections, the historical material on the history and priests of the church, the photo documentary testimony, information about the dents of the parish life and the lessons. The design, visual design and installation of the interactive display website were performed by SELENA L.
