Have you ever felt the peculiarities of the border crossing of your skin? If not, try to feel it when reading this article about how Kaunatas upper-class students with their mentors Irene Selivonchik and Maria Mukani traveled to the Republic of Belarus.
On the morning of 27 April, even more embarrassed, the young people went to the school to climb the bus and drive toward a tempting unknown country. Quickly reaching the border of Latvia – Belarus, the pupils were woken by the voice of the guides, who reported that it was time to prepare their passports and not to show their growing worry to border guards. “It will be a lot of trouble,” she added. Another unknown case was expected at the border point – the Belarusian rubles. The young people worked in mathematics for three days, transferring the rubles to the euro. It was true that the census was different, but somebody gave it to his head, and one of his lucky fingers counted on the calculator.
At the destination of the excursion, in Minsk, the pupils surveyed this unusual city through the bus window, as well as visited a complex form of architecture in the National Library of Belarus, where it was not only the many floors of the library that kept the books, but also the above-mentioned Belarusian rubles and the Minsk panorama view from the 23 rd floor. The first day ended with the free time and dinner, where the pupils tasted such unusual food as the narrowness that tasted like our more usual kebabs.
The second day was started, hastily breakfast in the hotel restaurant to get to the Minsk centre with the metro. The trip was followed by the study of Minsk's centre. Both the historic city centre and some modern museums were welcomed by young people. We walked in the Belarusian history park “juice”, not named in the name of a drink, but on the name of the river. The juice river carried a calm but pleasant surprise, a visit to 12.gs. Viking vessel. In order to be on board, the boys had to show the courage, scrambling with Viking and throwing heavy axes that girls couldn't even raise!
The end of the day was spent in a trade centre located in the city area and under the ground.
The morning of the third day carried an equally delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant and a long way in the direction of the house - we drove to Polocku. The old Polocka University was waiting for us there. The guide showed an educational institution and told the student about his university. The excursion was followed by a job because students were offered to create their own design for the Polocka magnet, which could then be taken as Souvenir.
When they drove home, no one in the bus slept, a very emotional and gorgeous share of their impressions, but another, while still listening to it, simply couldn't sleep. Tired but pleased with the interesting and crowded excursion, the travelers went TO Kaunatā around ten o'clock, but the conversation on the journey continued throughout the night, and the next day at school there was still an endless and emotion story of Belarus!
