Compensation for restrictions on economic activity in specially protected natural areas and micro-reserves

The compensation costs are administered by two institutions, the Nature Protection Administration (DAP) and the Rural Support Service (LAD). The application must be submitted annually TO THE DDA by 15 May and by 22 May. If you log in TO a LAD, you must submit a single submission TO THE LAD in the electronic login system.

DAP should be addressed if:

  1. the land is located in a specially protected nature area (SPA) other than Natura 2000;
  2. land or part thereof with an area of less than 1 ha is in micro-reserve outside Natura 2000,

where:

  • any economic activity, felling of trees in the main felling and felling felling, felling of trees in the main felling or felling of trees shall be prohibited in forest lands;
  • grubbing-up and cultivation of agricultural land or the prohibition of all forms of economic activity are prohibited.

Compensation - annual aid payment in forest lands shall be granted if the forest stand has reached at least 20 years of age.

No compensation shall be granted in the areas of natural monuments, particularly protected trees and stone.

LAD shall be addressed if the land or part thereof, which is not less than 1 ha (forest land except swamp):

  1. located in THE NATURA 2000 area;
  2. in the micro-reserve,

where:

  • prohibited forestry activity;
  • the main felling and felling felling;
  • the main felling is prohibited;
  • a bare felling.
