Among the winners of the competition “singer” - Rezekne municipality farm “Lukstinkēvičs”

At the end of the last weekend, Latvian Agricultural University (LLU) aul, Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs welcomed the winners of the competition “singer 2016” and the beneficiaries of ageing prizes – farmers, including young farmers, rural entrepreneurs and small pools. In the competition group “Family Farm” this year, the winner of the laureate was acquired by the municipality of Rēzekne Ozolmuižas parish farm “Lukstinkēvičs”, in which the family of Ķipuru is occupied.
IN 2014, ZS “Lukstinkēvičs” (owners Ivars and Ruth Kipuri) also became the winner of the Rēzekne Municipality Prize “annual company”. “Luxury houses” shall be managed by 120 ha of agricultural land in which potatoes, carrots, beet, bulbs, tomatoes and cucumbers are grown. In order to maintain the production as natural as possible, fertilizers and plant protection products are used minimally in the farm. Fresh vegetables grown in “luxury houses”, as well as several types of acidic cabbages, are very demanding in the green markets both in the municipality of Rezekne and elsewhere.
This year, the names of the winners, diplomas and prizes were awarded in seven nominations of the competition. The name of the laureate in the competition group “annual agricultural holding” was allocated to Kuldīga municipality's farm “Ezergaļi” and its owners amber and Iveta Erdmanis. In the competition group “annual company in food production” for the best known Bauska municipality, SIA “Jaunkrasts”, its manager Gints Druseiks.
Jānis Grasbergs, owner of the Latvian farm “Ziligi”, is recognised as the most successful young farmer, while the name of the laureate in the nomination “Agricultural Cooperative” was acquired BY THE Ddres municipality OF Durbes “Durbes grain”, its leader Sandris Bēcha.
This year was also rated by candidates in the nomination “tomorrow's singer – a member of a small circle”. The laureate in this nomination became the 114 of the Priekule. Christop Norenberg, a member of the pub. The Latvian Academy of Sciences (LZA), LZA Academy, LLU professor, Dr hab. oec is recognised as a winner in the nomination “science for rural development”. Baiba Rivja on the scientific work and a set of research projects for rural development (2015-2016). The promotion prizes and diplomas were generally received by 13 participants in all contest groups.
The award for “life-saving in agriculture” is awarded this year to the main zootechnician of SIA “Lāčplēsis Milk”, Maldai Poikani, who has contributed to the improvement of the production of the livestock sector through his professional work and organised the production of the crop sector for livestock farming purposes, thus focusing his life on the development of Latvia's agriculture.
The award of the competition “singer” has become one of the most important measures for farmers, while the name of the laureate “singer” is a sign of the evidence of the work.
