On Saturday, 25 April, Rēzekne Municipality took PLACE IN THE parish OF Lūznavas, a restored Lūznavas manor was celebrated solemnly. Thanks to the project “Lūznavas maniža building reconstruction (including local restoration works)” implemented by the municipality of Rezekne, the manor building has recovered its cultural historical heritage and returned as a real Latgale cultural pearl. In the opening of the reconstructed building, the chairman OF the Rēzekne District Council, Monvīds Švarcs, wished it to become a house of the people of Rezekne, the place of assembly, where, like the former owner of the estate in Kerbeye, they had gathered a variety of arts and positions, so that it was a tourist attraction where Latgale's natural and cultural values could be met. He expressed great gratitude to all who participated in the creation of this unique project, among them, architect Ināra Caunis, building firm R.A.J., Boowyeast Ivars Markovskis, project manager Anita Bringulei, head of the municipality of Rezekne, Jānis Volkas, Latvian Rural Support Service, National Inspection for Heritage Protection.
VKPAI Latgale Inspector Vilma Platpiere emphasized that Lūznavas Manor is a positive example of serious and careful treatment of the preservation of cultural historical values over the reconstruction of the building. All the more so because the almost five-year-long reconstruction works OF Lūznavas manor have not been smooth, they had to abandon the construction firm selected in the competition, whose work proved to be poor. Both the local government and the architect said to the building firm R.A.J., who dared to take over half-way works and successfully bring them to the end. In the work account of the architect Inara Caunt, this is the fifth renovated manor, before working on the development of Tukums Durbes Manor, Turaida Manor, Ramava Manor and Kyrbee Manor Buildings. She acknowledged that she had always felt much support from the municipality of Rezekne.
“I had no tremendous difficulties as an architect, but the most difficult thing was that the builders who started the works had no understanding of the cultural monument, and there was no desire to understand.” The local government had a lot of encouragement that they were able to give up the builders and chose others. And these builders, in turn, had the courage to enter and finish it. '
As a result of the commencement of the reconstruction works of the estate, the artistic architectural research of the estate was originally carried out. The reconstruction of the building and external cellar roof structures has been performed in the course of reconstruction (including local restoration works), reconstruction of the flue-wire, the roof cover of the roof of the building and the roof cover of the outer cellar. Restored historical details of the roof, roof windows. The construction of the building and hydroinsulation works have been reconstructed within the framework of the project. The manor is equipped with a heating and ventilation system in which a partial heating of the warm floor is intended and the boundaries of the possibilities are preserved and authenticated. An assembly of water and sewerage systems, installed electrical systems including reinstalled fire safety systems and a lightning protection system shall be performed, the reconstruction works of the external facade of the manor building shall be performed. Reconstruction works have also been performed indoors (walls, ceilings, floor coverings), fully reconstructed manor basement, where facilities for organising educational events are located. The inner rooms of the first, second and third floor of the restored manor building, including the large holiday hall with the necessary auxiliary facilities. A large effort has been made to rebuild the windows of the manor building, doors, wooden trim panels, floor parquets, stairways. In the southern part of the building, the chapel rooms were restored, the chapel was sanctioned at the beginning of that year.
The board member of the BUILDING firm Roberts Villers admitted that the object had not been simple, but he is very pleased that one excellent and beautiful building is once again organized in Latvia. “I thought it was what Mr Schwartz would keep in all the rooms, but now the exhibition occupies the largest part of the building.” Let people drive and watch, not everywhere. 'Well cool, just cool!'
The culmination of the manor discovery event was THE arrival of Lūznavas manifold in a luxurious carriage, drawn by two funeral rikers. In the role of Mr. Manor, THE head of THE Lūznavas parish administration, Vladimir Snags, was born, but the beautiful lady was a scraper of Vita Zvejniece.
The festive melodies of the Rēzekne Municipality and J.Ivanov's musical high school puffs were often tempted by many of the event guests to enter the hundredth-year-old building, looking into the gorgeous rooms that still keep the ancient story of the St. Petersburg estate of Saint Petersburg, during which, at the end of the 19 th century, AT the beginning OF the 20 th century, Lūznavas Manor had turned into a temple of different arts. The musicians, poets, painters, one of the guests were also the respected Lithuanian artist K.M. Churlonis. It was now possible to see 35 at the premises. Latgale Podnieku Day exhibition, art studio V.I.V.A. and gundeg Ranance paintings, Maltas rotten Riharda Cibl album, Anton Ranceans woodcutters, photographer works. On the broad windows, the sound of the clan of Eve Saliete was echoed, the cockpit of Rēzekne's Polish cultural association “Jutrigka”, Maltas k/n Bar ansamblis, and Lūznavas parish folklore ensemble. The artistic developments also continued in the historic manor park where artists, servants, podiers were working, smelled of pancakes and vegetable steam.
The project implemented is one of the most important projects of Rezekne, both in terms of financial volume and the amount of reconstruction work carried out, as the object to be restored is a cultural monument of national significance who was initially in a very sad state and threatened to go lost. Lūznavas manor reconstruction works were carried out under the budget of the municipality of Rezekne, with support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). Total cost of the facility: 1 297 395,70 EURO (with VAT), of which the European Union financing amounts to EUR 463 721,83 (excluding VAT).
It is expected that IN the future, Lūznavas manor could be developed as an international centre for environmental education and art, the location of various camps, seminars, arts plenary sessions. The municipality also envisages the development OF THE Lūznavas Park, involving the attraction of state, local government and EU funding and the development of further customs and park activities.
