During the festival OF XXVI's general Latvian songs and XVI dance festivals, an extensive cultural programme was held at various locations of Riga, including the folklore day “Taisat, People's, high door!” At the Etnography Museum. This time it was in the wedding mood, Kurzeme, Zemgale, Vidzeme and Latgale mushrooms, and wedding songs and wedding songs, scented pies, foam Alutins. In one of Kurzeme's banks on the shore of the lake, in the courtyard where the nine-man forces had fired, the pre-pirmskāzu events in Latgale were played and sanctioned by the Rēzekne county Rikavas and Rogovka ethnographic ensembles. The director and script autopsy, Aija Dunga, had a real new couple, the members of the “Rikava”, who would celebrate the wedding in August.
In witty and lucky dialogues, performances, dances, and the first part of the song, “Kuozys, kuozys byus! (Dean da isdeveņom bryutes)”, the rikaviets played the pre-hauling field in the farmhouse - the preparation of the sleeve, the sowing, the doorway. In order to remind the sadness of divorce from his father, the new bride was given a variety of tips, jokes with seriousness, as it had been earlier in Latgale, to prepare for the wedding, the whole village, both young and old. In the second part - “Kuozys Rogovka” - Rogovka Etnographic Englishman sang in songs and told stories about the order of the wedding day, but in the third part, the Rikaviets and the Romans came together to sing together between the bride and the groom's relatives, as well as to sing “kuozu gosts” - the viewers. In this part, the wedding of the wedding, including beer and scholarship, did not survive. To create a real notion, the Rikaviets had also taken care of a rich range of properties, ranging from dishes, soles, tins to birch meals and coupe to Miriam. Also, the visitors' responsiveness was large - although the wedding was played at several museum houses on this day, the courtyard was full of people, all of whom followed up with the events of the performance.
This is one of the many traditions of indigenous traditions created by ethnographic ensemble “Rikava”, but as the leader Aija Dundure is laughing at the wedding, it is the first. Rikavas and Rogovka's ethnographic ensembles are combined with ancient and close friendship.
“As we are joking, all the great places in the world begin with“ R ”- Rome, Rio de Janeiro, Riga, Rogovka and Rikava. A couple of years ago, we learned that we were also connected by the story of two families who were told by the descendants of the family of Juris-Ragoans living in America who visited Latvia in the search for their families, also in Rogovka and Rikava. This story was transformed into“ Like Land ”(director Janis Ozolins - oak). This story inspired a joint programme. It is delighted that among the viewers was a guest from the LATVIAN Honorary Consul in Texas Peteris Ragaushis, who supported the film adaptation, he was touched by tears.”
At the centre of the performance - young people Ignats and Veronica, who are preparing for the wedding, but also in reality the members of the ethnographic ensemble, Juris and Ta are preparing to celebrate the wedding. “Rikava” has been working since childhood with Mom Anita, now a Juri, who admits that he likes it. The wedding behavior touched. “I'd like to have such wedding with all the peoples in reality,” says Juris and Tan.
The Etnographic ensemble “Rikava” is one of the oldest in Latvia, which will celebrate the 65 th anniversary next summer, but their salts, Etnographic ensemble “Rogovka” (manager Anna Garanča) have reached the significant age of 33. Together, the work has led to joy and willingness to do so: in the autumn, the wedding performance will be played in Latgale.
