The Ministry of Welfare is looking for families who are proud of the municipality
Also this year, by honouring the Latvian family, the Ministry of Welfare, together with the Ministry of Transport etc., will organise an ambitious concert event in Slokenbek. In a multimedial concert event, we will honor seven families from different Latvian provinces. In April, we want to take a short film that will be broadcast live on the concert and then in a special broadcast. The families themselves will be invited to Shlokenbek. We will also invite the parish people from which the family will be raised in honour.
Given that this year's concert is a three-string family. The river. Dialect, ask your help - find and speak to your parish/hack the families you are proud of!
We ask you to recommend and send contacts to families who live on the banks of the river where the traditions, the honour of Latvia, the songs, the family heritage and possibly the dialects of their municipality are spoken.
For example, we look at the families who live on the bank of Venta and speak like “ventians”, to the Libians, who are home to Roy, parasites. For Latgale, which houses the Zilupes, Asina, Maltas Dubnas. The Zemgalians at the Lielupe, also the family at the Gauja and the family of Riga, who wake up every morning with a view of the fate Daugava!

The event was scheduled for 21 May 2016 (Saturday) on the international family day and the museum night, Livonian Order in Slokenbek Manor. At around 21 will begin an ambitious celebration of the family day with the honesty of Latvian families, bringing together the beautiful and unusual landscapes of Latvia's rivers of Latvia, whose coasts have been covered by the lives of many families.
The focus of the event will be family or family life, which will be associated with the themes of family, rivers, dialects and road in an emotional positive atmosphere. The concert programme will take approximately 2 hours! On the night of the warm May, the palace park from the sides of the palace will come together with thick mates, a great family with children and foster children, every family in Latvia who will want to see, feel and face the heart of bright and different families through the municipality - Zemgale, Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Latgale, Riga People's honour and traditions, songs, songs and dances!
A 5-6-minute documentary video story will be created for each of the noble families, which will be projected on a big screen in a manor park at the end of the family day.
