Good Work Week Three High School

In the course of a week of good work, the 11 th grade school pupils of Tiskad High School, together with their class teacher, “armed” with ditches, went to clean up the Tisky Old Believers' prayer site – grabbed leaves, put them in the old cover and carried them away. They received a great deal of satisfaction.

Classes 6-8 invited students to attend SCHOOL Silmalas kindergarten students and showed them the theatre exhibition “Unobedient Some”. After the performance, a creative workshop was organized in the folding of papers – with the help of pupils, small children formed lecturing frogs. Young children liked it very much, they worked actively and with interest.

Class 7 students, together with a class nurse, worked in the school area after hours. The trail of nature, with patience and interest in the form of competitions, took place in a variety of autumn works.

A concert at the social care centre in Rezekne was organised with the initiative of the pupils' self-administration. Our instrumental ensemble “fantasy” played a variety of compositions, the pre-school girls Laima and the albino sang autumn songs, the 12 th-class schoolgirl alluded the audience, performing the songs “Mommy hands” and “these dreams”, the school dance couple Cenny and Vlad were delighted with beautiful dances. We are convinced that we enjoyed the old people, because we saw both smiles and, sometimes, tears in their faces and heard their gratitude after the concert.

Everyone agreed that it was a great act in which every man in his free will was willing to help and enjoy others. Anyway, big or small is a job, a joy in the heart, a smile on his face, and a satisfaction of being able to give others. Let us remember, however, that everyone can do a good job not only within the course of the week but also on a day-to-day basis.
