Lāčplēsis will open the reconstructed road section Lūznava – Veczosna

Sunday, November 11 at 15.00 The reconstructed road section Lūznava - Veczosna Rēzekne parish WILL be opened solemnly. The renewed path will not only improve the everyday lives of local people, but also promote entrepreneurship, especially tourism development. As a result of the European Regional Development Fund project No. 5.6.2.0/16/I/018 “Establishment of an industrial area network for the promotion of entrepreneurship in the municipality of Rezekne, Rezekne and Viļānu”, road conversion and driving are now convenient and pleasant.
The previous road cover was in bad condition - the beders and the so-called Trape was not a small inconvenience for riders, including tourists who visit Razna National Park. According to the project manager Brigita Arbidane, this section of the road - 4.433 km is the longest of the gravel roads reconstructed in Rezekne municipality, attracting the financing of European Union projects. It is a very pleasant gift for the people of parish, entrepreneurs, Latgale and Latvia as a whole.
