Latgale stands at the TOURIST exhibition BALTTOUR surprises visitors
From 1 to 3 February, a 26 th international tourism exhibition “Balttour 2019” is held at the International Exhibition Centre in Ķīpsala, which is the largest and most important tourism exhibition in the Baltics. In the exhibition, anyone can reveal something new for the next tourist season in the region. Every year the exhibition is a festival and a meeting place for professionals in the industry and with travellers. As the organisers say, Balttour 2019 will be able to see more than 470 stalls in one place, where they will present their offers around 850 tourist companies from 41 countries of the world.
Latgale will be present at the exhibition every year, but this year visitors will have a different image and a new, very different stand. If the visitors of Latgale are bound by the blue lakes, the beautiful ceramics and the ancient trades, then this time we want to show the things and emotions that have not been seen before, the white, black and green will prevail in the stand.
The central element of the bench will be the new tourism object “Moto & Metal NESTER CUSTOM art gallery” this year. It is a unique metallic exhibit gallery where art works are created from cars and motorcycles. At the time of the exhibition you can meet the galleries, the photograph will be able to make an unusual photo of the gallery exhibits that have been brought to this exhibition. Although the unusual tourist object will be discovered only in May of that year, it has already caused great interest, so we want to show it internationally. There will also be known and loved tourism objects in the bench. For all travellers, the new happiness museum, which was opened in Indra as a gift for Latvia in 2018. There will also be other news, surprises, photography and lusty latmeat music.
The Latgale stands will be able to meet all the tourist information centre (BELIEVES) employees who will tell both the news of this season and invite them to visit the already known sites. Tourism specialists have compiled the largest activities of the region, as well as issued a common tourism map of Latgale in several languages. The exhibition in the household and artisanal trade area will meet many of Latgale's ancient trade-offs and gardage producers.
The costs of the bench as well as other joint activities are covered by the resources of Latgale local government and association “Latgale Region tourism association“ Ezerland ”.
