The Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) has launched the adoption of projects in the programme “Support for the introduction of green technologies in manufacturing”.

Projects

The objective of the programme is to support the introduction of innovative environmental technologies, services and products for products, technologies or processes that contribute to energy efficient use, emission reduction and lower resource consumption. Within the framework of the activity, the aid is granted for the purchase of new equipment; project publicity measures; research activities; financing of knowledge transfer activities with the project partner, which is necessary for the introduction of a new product, service or technology in production.

The total available funding for this activity is eur 7 769 107, with a maximum available funding of eur 700 000 per beneficiary in the open competition, the aid intensity is 45%. In the framework of open competition, financing for the introduction of new technologies and services in manufacturing may be received by legal persons who are registered as merchants in the Republic of Latvia. Project applications may be submitted TO THE IDA Registry Office in working days from at 8.30 to 17.00 or by post (in registered letter) to address at Pērse street 2, Riga, LV-1442, or by sending to e-mail address: liaa@liaa.gov.lv (in electronic form). The proposals for the competition will be adopted in accordance with the draft Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of 10 December 2013 “the procedures for the implementation of the project competition of the“ Norwegian Financial Instrument 2009-2014 ”programme“ Innovation in green production ”.
