On the morning of May 4, Berzard was sunny, though very cool and windy, but it did not prevent the children from referring to the parish administration's invitation to participate in the planting of the trees.
For several years, on the day of restoration of independence of the Republic of Latvia, Burzgale is planting trees. There are currently good placement works at the renovated pond IN THE centre OF Bērzgales. Gradually, the pond area is built as a recreational area, attracting both the resources of the environmental fund projects of Rezekne and the voluntary initiatives.
This year, by the edge of the pond, by covering the view of the farm buildings, liepiņas were planted. The flame plantations were kept in a half-island where they had grown up and grew very productive. On the other hand, the children of Tatjana Metelaska gave the parish to the parish plants grown in their house. Thank Tatyana's family!
In the bush, the work was smooth and soon all the talkers, with their rusty dignity, gathered at the tea at the white table.
Arvīds Dunsky, the head of the parish administration, was invited to express his thoughts, suggestions for further improvement of the pond area.
I would like to thank the fishermen Ilmatir, Alvim, Dinim, Arvīd and others who have put fish in the cleaned pond.
While part of the festival participants were planting trees, sportsmen in the school sports hall gathered traditional competitions in volleyball for the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Latvia.
8 teams had applied for the competition this year. The competition was held in two rooms – Berzgale and Lendes. Place 1 st – United team “Spr”, 2 nd place – Kraslava, 3 rd place - Baltinavai, 4 th place – Salnavai. Ludza's team fought the little cup.
In response to the invitation of the Ministry of Culture, the people of private houses have been gathering on a white-covered table for several years. The people of the 21 st house of Ritupes Street meet together in order not only to celebrate festivals, but also discuss issues of home management.
The people of the Garden and Ozolkalns streets introduced a tradition of gathering every time in another courtyard on 4 May. In informal talks on own-covered tables, there is not only an idea of implementation.
