Celebration of the anniversary of the Republic of Latvia in Griškānu civil parish

On 17 and 18 November, the 97 th birthday of Latvia was celebrated AT Griškānu parish. On 17 November, a formal event was held, with the participation of the students of the Central School of Rēznas and THE students of THE Griškānu parish PII, who welcomed the events of the event with their performances. During the event, the people who contributed to the development of the parish were also honoured.
On the evening of 18 November, a family dinner was held AT Griškānu in the parish cultural house, “i knew where Momma was making Car.” At the beginning of the event, the visitors burned the candles and agreed to “God, bless Latvia!” in the Common People's prayer. Later, interesting stories about Latvia's history and visitors went into Latvian toys. There was also a creative workshop: visitors were preparing Latvian flags, which were taken in the end of the evening as a festival symbol and commemoration of Latvia's 97 th birthday.
