Young people of the Rēzekne Committee of Latvia participate in winter camp in Norway

From 3 to 6 March, the Latvian Red Cross (LSK) Rēzekne Committee will visit Norway to take part in the camp organised by the Norwegian Red Cross Oplanet (Oppland) Committee - Winter Camp 2016 “Winter Friends - a Friend with Winter”. 10 young people from the Rezekne Committee and 10 from the Oplanet Committee will participate in the camp so that they can learn each other and share their experiences in joint activities.
Both practice and discussion and lectures are included in camp activities. The events will take place in the mountains where young people will form camp, meet the ways of travel during winter in the mountains, understand how to act if the mountains have landslides, how to provide aid in emergency situations. Young people will talk about their country and the activities of the organization in the municipality, as well as collectively enjoy winter joys in skiing.
Returning home, young people will share their experiences and impressions as soon as they meet in the Rēzekne Committee.
