Farmers are invited to a conference of the Ministry of Agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture, in cooperation with SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre”, organises regional conferences for farmers within the framework of the activities of the State Rural Network. In Latgale, the conference will be held on 19 March in the cultural house of Rezekne, brothers Skrindu street 3, Rezekne.

The conference organised by the Ministry of Agriculture will provide farmers with information on the most important developments in the area of area payments and the new rural development programme.

Agenda:

• 10.30 – 11.00 attendance of conference participants.
• 11.00 – 11.10 opening of the conference. Minister's speech.
• 11.10 – 11.50 direct payments in 2015.
• 11.50 – 12.30 activities of the rural development programme 2014-2020 and implementation thereof.
• 12.30 – 13.00 Minister's replies to questions. Discussion.

All stakeholders are invited to participate in the conference. Participation in the conference is free.

The Ministry of Agriculture Jānis Dūklavs will be able to ask the question box in a written form or oral part of the conference.
