Rural tourism entrepreneurs are invited to interesting activities and conference

The active tourism season is approaching the end, and the time of the education and conference of our Latgale region tourism association (LRTA) is present.
We have decided this year to organize some but a thorough course. Recently, there is a problem with campsites in Latgale. We have recreational bases or rural areas, but little is camping, as they understand and expect foreigners. This time, on October 25, 26, on a guest house on “Green Island”, the Rēzekne municipality, in the parish OF Rēzekne, will invite the campsite specialists in two days to tell all about campsites -- starting with technical solutions and resolving modern business problems. The listeners will also be offered publications on this topic, an interesting business reality game, and outlines the trends of the campsite in the world and Latgale. The course will be led by Linda Bēce, head of the Latvian campsite association, who has a campsite in Vidzeme “Forest Islands” and anti Hantenens from Finland, from the European campsite association. They have a chance to sleep in a guest house and visit a cultural event in Rezekne.
On October 19-20, we organise an exchange of experience -- this time to North America and South Estonia. The programme is currently being clarified, but the main route is: Daugavpils-Rēzekne - Balvi-Sathenian - Alūksne - Veclaicene - Rouge Manor (overnight). On the second day, we'll look at Seth's land in Estonia - guest houses, household shops, innovative tourism offers, view towers, Seta museum, funnel ruins. The association will pay the transport and accommodation and the attendants and will have to pay the costs.

On 10 November, all are invited to the Latgale tourism conference IN Lūznavas manor (Rezekne municipality). Beginning of the conference at 10.00.
In the first part, we will talk about the season and the plans for the next year. A knowledgeable specialist, Professor Agita Līviņa will tell you how to earn better today in the field of tourism. Andris Kucins will show news and changes to business legislation and projects from the planning region, including news from THE IDA on tourism work in the country. In the second part, Mr Asnate Ziemele, head of the “rural traveller”, will discuss the situation in rural tourism, opportunities, news and projects currently in THE LC agenda.
