Lego Workshop Three Secondary School

Technical modelling and creativity are interested in the secondary school pupils, so the local government of Tiskad High School took part in the competition of the municipality of Rezekne in the competition for the allocation of funding for supplementing the material base for technical innovation activities in 2014. THE FINANCING of THE LEGO workshop project was awarded by the municipality of Rezekne 420,00 EUR and THE co-financing of Silmalas parish for purchase of hardware 50.00 EURO, as well as co-financing for organising events. The main objective of the project was to purchase LEGO constructors for the development of pupils and the organisation of leisure time.
Primary school students in extended daily groups and classes 5-7 shall remain free of time after the completion of their homework and after hours. Part of the pupils attend schools of school interest education. But there are students who would be willing to work with technical creativity. Therefore, the acquisition of LEGO constructors will provide students with the opportunity to improve creativity and to spend time.
Recently, a project of modernisation and renovation has been completed at the High School. The school interior has become more modern. Now the new LEGO constructors and the school environment will be more friendly and more favourable to the younger class students.
With THE help of LEGO constructors, we plan to organize not only useful pupils' leisure, but also:
• Making a fun story with THE help of LEGO constructor and making a movie with the use of Movie Maker.
the organisation of the exhibition of technical models.
• tender for the creation of the most interesting home, aircraft, machine and t.t.
