The Lord is singing to God's honour!
In the third years prior to the Summer Festival, THE Rēzekne municipality of Rēzekne is gathering choir, ensembles, soldiers to praise God in the music festival. These festivals call the traditional singing of the Cultural Canon at the crossroads, honouring God. Generally, the festival takes place in a beautiful place, Lendžu in an open-air erection, but this year, due to the rain and cold wind, the participants gathered in the hall of the cultural house, which was filled with both the singer and the listeners.
The festival began with the prayer of the chimnetic Catholics, “Maria sneuo, Latvet Muote!”, and the whole hall was singing as she stood. The songs with the flute and the horn game, on stage one by one, are the choir and ensembles who have made closer and further roads: the women's choir “Anima” of the Koknese cultural house and the children's choir of Koknese's music school (dir. Lelde Kamzole-Gagaine), Aizkraukles municipality's high school youth choir “de Cantare” (dir. Eduards Gravtis), Rēzekne Polish cultural association choir “Jutrigka” (dir. Irene Ivanova, Maltas women's choir “Madarina”, along with Cathedral of Rezekne Jesus's heart, “Adorama” (dir. Christine Zelina, Jānis Ivanova Rēzekne's music school student Martha Paula Seyne and Amanda Raudive, young flutiste of the Koknese children's music school, the “noktirne” of the Women's Cultural House, Ingoin Lipsk, with her friends from Jelgava, Ozolnieki and Ogre, and, of course, home, Lendžu women's vocal ensembles “Run” and “Ommamas”. The event was directed by its organizer and inspired Irene Ivanova.
The festival motto was “distant”, and the music shouted closely. Home, this concept is often transformed in the contemporary and hasty world, but the human soul is looking for a house for all his life, another in the way, another in a new generation, but every home is a place where a man feels loved and expected. His father's house, it is a handful of peace, which is a restlessness, the house is where your prayer goes to heaven and returns to the good news that the house is a place where you hear the voice of God.
The concert was closed by a joint choir singer under the direction of the conductor Eduard Gravskis and THE prayer of Bērzgales and Sarkau parish parish Andrew Jonah. He thanked him for the donations made in the previous year's festivals for the interior repair of the Roman Catholic Catholic Church, and invited everyone on 8 June, in the Summer Festival, to a solemn renovation of the inner rooms of the church.
After the concert, the participants gazed at THE rusty cienastu and hot tea of Lendžu parish.
Lendžu's spiritual music festival project is implemented with financial support from Latgale Region Development Agency, State Culture Capital Foundation and A/S “Latvian State Forests”.
