IDAL business incubators receive new business idea authors and entrepreneurs
Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) business incubators announce the 2019 admission and invite new entrepreneurs and business idea authors to apply for the incubation programme.
From 1 March to 20 March 2019, the acceptance of applications for participation in the incubation programme for fifteen IDAA business incubators throughout Latvia, including the Rezekne business incubator, will be opened. In the incubation programme, undertakings which have not been registered for more than three years shall be invited. Applications signed with electronic signature and sent to liaa@liaa.gov.lv will be adopted by 20 March 2019 at 23:59.
The pre-incubation programme is suitable for both natural and legal persons who want to assess the viability of their business idea. Within six months, it provides participants with all the necessary support for their business idea – equipped working spaces, mentors and other entrepreneurs, seminars and training on various topics binding on entrepreneurs, and helps to address their business challenges, as well as valuable contacts and participation in the largest new entrepreneur in the Community in Latvia.
In addition to pre-incubation support, a participant receives 50% co-financing for the purchase of services necessary for business development, such as accounting, rental of premises, design, marketing, technological advice and prototype development, certification, laboratory costs etc. IT is also possible TO qualify FOR CO-financing OF 50% up to EUR 5 000 for the costs of purchase of equipment and raw materials.
Stakeholders – new entrepreneurs and authors of business ideas – are invited to visit the info day on March 1 in Rezekne's business incubator church street 19, Rezekne, to learn more about the services provided by the incubator and support opportunities for business ideas or business development, as well as the reception procedures in the incubator.
There are currently 43 participants in the Rēzekne business incubator, 30 of which are admitted to the incubation programme and 13 test the viability of their idea in the pre-incubation programme. In the companies of incubation participants, there are unique design and interior objects (Metta Steel rugaos, MP design Balvos), Latgale roasted coffee (CUUP COFFEE in Rēzekne municipality), textile articles for the military industry (Technical Textiles Balvos), modern confectionery (TASSE-LV café bird in Rezekne), innovative solutions IN THE field, and other products and services are being developed.
THE purpose of THE IDAL business incubators is to support the creation and development of new, viable and competitive enterprises, to provide natural persons and businesses with the environment necessary for the start of business or the development of ideas, the joint working space, the new business community, consultancy, training, networking activities on general business issues, mentor support and co-financing for business development. THE IDAL business incubators are funded under THE ERDF project “Regional Business Incubators and Incubators of Creative Industries”.
