Current real estate tax payment by November 15
It is recalled that the current tax on real estate tax should be paid by 15 November 2018. In accordance with the Law on immovable property tax, immovable property tax payments shall be performed quarterly not later than 31 March, 15 May, 15 August and 15 November - one quarter of the amount of the tax year, or once a year - in the form of an advance (if the time period is a holiday, it is transferred to the nearest working day).
Pay NIP at local government billing points, bank, internetbank, portal www.epakalpojumi.lv and www.latvija.lv. In the payment internetbank, it is essential to verify that the transfer is addressed to the municipality which issued the notification of THE payment OF THE NIP. The transfer shall be made to one of the local government accounts indicated in the payment notice drawn up.
Safe and convenient FOR NIS to be paid in the portal www.epakalpojumi.lv or www.latvija.lv. In both portals, local government bank accounts ARE available FOR payment OF THE NIP, as well as the taxpayer automatically shows all the necessary information for payment. In the www.epakalpojumi.lv, it is possible to pay for the property of another natural or legal person. User convenience in the service portal www.epakalpojumi.lv users can see an eSignature Mobile tool in their profile.
We call for the tax to be paid in due time because a late payment of 0.051 TP1T of the outstanding amount is calculated in accordance with the law on unpaid payments.
In order to avoid misunderstanding of the period of payment of the tax, it is not possible to www.epakalpojumi.lv in the portal for the receipt of reminders in e-mail or in the form of a text message to the mobile phone (SMS) regarding the approaching of THE PERIOD of payment OF THE NIP. A reminder letter to the specified e-mail will be sent seven days before the payment deadline, but IN THE form OF SMS, on the date of payment of the payment deadline.
