Bandage, house and sown rotation, Jāņu crown, fire burning, song singing, jumping over a fire - with such traditions every good grower celebrates summer sunshine.
FOR the second consecutive year, Kaunatā is a tradition of celebrating summer sunnuts just 23 June. On the evening of Līga, Kaunatas erected a large number of branders to celebrate the most latent festivals.
The festival began with the congratulations of Valgeja Bashmakov, head of THE parish administration OF Kaunatas. In his speech, the head of the administration said that the summer sunshine was the right moment to draw strength for further work, because in the shortest night of the year, the power of nature is the most vivid. In his wish, Sergei Bashmakov stressed that we would think of good thoughts during this sunshine, say good words to each other and be with our beloved, as well as desperate all the lusty brushes.
With his presence, the event was accompanied BY a Kaunatas folklore set, singing Jesus songs, Kaunatas dance collectors and amateur theatre. By joining self-employed people, a musical - theatrical performance was created, which could see both living situations and going to the market, enjoying a pirate joy and a romantic meeting of two young people. With fun, dances and songs, Liga Festival was celebrated.
With all the participants in the event, a fire was lit, which is a special sign of Liga festivals! Fire ritual songs were singing to pray for the blessing of themselves, their relatives, their people, their land, the donation of bread, water, sanctum.
It is in James that we realize that we are the children of nature, physically sensing how all the living creature receives strength, thriving in an unusual glorious and generous share of us. We feel united, God, nature, and man. It is a powerful unity that creates harmony.
