Luban Lake Travel Days 2018

Very soon, on 16-17 June, the start will be given to the first days of Luban Lake travellers. The main purpose of the event is to promote Luban Lake and its surroundings as a great destination for active recreational, natural, cultural and rural tourism fans, as well as to create an in-depth public understanding of the wetlands of Luban, its natural values and importance.
The event programme of the travellers is planned to be able to find a handful of natural lovers and an active recreational lover, a gardener and a cultural heritage fan. To be easier to follow and schedule this weekend, we have created an interactive online map where you can see all cultural events, farms, tourist information points, active recreational and natural intelligence activities - ejuz.lv/celotajudienukarte. The map will be supplemented up to 10 June.
The natural lovers will be able to acquaint themselves with the bird diversity of the nature reserve “Luban wetlands” and the world of marshes, along with the bird-watching biologist Dagni Vasilevski, to travel in a swamp with the natural expert Daini Tucha, looking at night lights, studying moths with entomologist Gunti stone, as well as going into an expedition-worthy boat ride under the direction of Mara Valaina, with the aim of familiarizing the white clan.
While travelling in Luban, it is definitely worth revealing one of Luban's lake secrets, making a visit, and going to the tourist business owners who have so much talent and trade! Enjoy cheese, beer, ancient musical instruments, smoked fish, enjoy the pleasure in nature, and draw strength from ancient stories!
In the evening of 16 June, cultural fans WILL take a photograph “Inspiration of Lake Lubana Lake and now” and short film about the life of local residents in the nature reserve “Lubana wetlands”. In the day of the day, the musical pleasure with the free-nature concert will be given by the world's traveller and the young Rainis young.
The owners and organisers of Luban Lake Travellers are local residents of Luban area who know well the Luban Lake and the Natural Resistance “Luban Wetlands”. In these days of travellers they gathered together to show the wilderness, fascination, and urgency of the territory.
